The Jocker

 The Jocker, is the artistic name of the magician Rúben Clara, born in São Sebastião da Pedreira, Lisbon. 

  When he was almost 3 years old, he moved to Vialonga, where he started at a very young age in the field of drawing and writing, making poems and stories. 

  At around 6 years of age, he discovers his taste for drawing, making his first portraits on the sheet and at the age of 13 writes his first book of poems. years playing roles of different genres, from the Devil, student, poets, pastry maker to classics like Hamlet and the Wizard and Wizard of Oz. 

  He is also dedicated to the world of fantasy and terror, seeking to discover about the occult and witchcraft, awakening his interest and advancing into the spiritual, physical and astrophysical areas. 

  He joins “RadioViaonda” for 3 years and when he turns 17 he starts reading cards and reading fortunes.

  He set up 2 music bands, "PRP" and "MRDF", one rock and the other a romantic alternative, but unfortunately the project didn't make much progress due to lack of dedication, however, he decided to give 1 year of music lessons before leaving your school. 

  He then wrote his first fiction books and at the same time, at the age of 19, in one of the dressing rooms where the theater rehearsals were held,  he ends up discovering his first magic trick. 

  He finds some chains in that same dressing room and decides to ask his friends to tie him in different ways, both on his wrists and on his feet and even on places such as posts, thus discovering the beginning of the art of escapism and illusionism. 

  Only later did he really understand what the art of magic was all about. 

  In this way, he accomplishes other feats, observing his colleagues and noticing the techniques they used with the cards. He then decided to study and dedicate himself to this magnificent skill.

  Currently, he tries to perform with all his abilities his shows inside and outside the country, he presents to the public all his knowledge over the years, not illusionism, but magic, thus winning some prizes. He also states that "What happens is not the act of its realization, but the fact that each person's feeling is created by seeing that the impossible becomes possible" , all generated by the emotions and reactions of the brain to what happens the name of “MAGIC” .
